Buy Now or Make an Offer: A New Way to Acquire Domains

Every domain in the Snap Domains Marketplace comes with two options: Buy Now at the listed asking price, or Make an Offer at a price you propose. Both are designed to be simple, but they serve different strategies.

Buy Now

Buy Now is for buyers who have decided on a domain and want it secured immediately. You proceed to a secure checkout at the full asking price, and the transfer process begins right away. This is the fastest path from interest to ownership.

Make an Offer

Make an Offer is for buyers who believe the asking price is open to discussion. You submit your name, contact details, and a proposed price. We review every offer individually and respond within 48 hours. To keep the process productive, the minimum offer is 60% of the asking price.

When to use which

If the domain is critical to a launch and the price fits your budget, Buy Now removes uncertainty. If you have room to negotiate or the domain has been listed for a while, an offer can be a smart move. For more on how listings are sourced, see our marketplace launch announcement.
