1. What We Do
BoltNames helps you acquire domain names that are already owned by someone else. When you submit a request, our team reaches out to the current owner on your behalf and does everything we reasonably can to negotiate a purchase. We genuinely want to help you get the domain you're after, and we'll put real care and persistence into the effort. That said, the outcome always depends on the owner's willingness to sell, so we can't promise that every domain can be acquired.
2. What the Fee Covers
The $69 service fee pays for our time and effort, the research, outreach, and negotiation work that goes into trying to acquire a taken domain name on your behalf. It's a flat, one-time fee that funds the work itself, not a guaranteed result. Because that work begins as soon as you place a request, the fee is non-refundable, even if the owner declines to sell or never responds.
3. Our Best Effort, Not a Guarantee
We approach every request with genuine commitment, but acquiring a domain ultimately comes down to whether the owner is willing to sell and at what price. Over a 30-day window we contact the registered owner across multiple channels and keep you updated on your dashboard throughout. If no positive response comes back after that period, we'll wrap up the engagement and let you know the outcome. Because the fee covers the effort rather than the result, no refund is issued in these cases.
4. The Domain Price Is Separate
The $69 service fee does not include the cost of the domain itself. If an owner agrees to sell, you'll be shown their asking price or a negotiated price separately, and you're never obligated to accept it. Any agreement to buy the domain is between you and the seller.
5. Your Part
Please provide accurate information when you submit a request, including a valid email address so we can reach you. It helps to keep an eye on your dashboard and respond to updates or offers promptly, since delays on either side can affect how a negotiation plays out.
6. Using the Service Fairly
Our service is meant for genuine acquisition efforts. You may not use it for unlawful purposes, cybersquatting, or trademark infringement. We may decline a request if, in our judgment, it conflicts with these terms or applicable law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BoltNames and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If you keep using the service after a change, that means you're okay with the updated Terms. We'll let you know about any material changes through the platform.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
10. Marketplace Purchases
Alongside our brokerage service, BoltNames runs a marketplace of premium domain names available for direct purchase. Some of these domains are held by BoltNames directly, while others are listed on behalf of our clients. When you buy through the marketplace, the listed price is the full amount due at checkout. Following a completed purchase, we'll start the transfer process and guide you through each step. Marketplace purchases are separate from the brokerage service fee described above.
